- Homemade pie crust
- 15oz can (about 2 cups; 450g) p
- umpkin puree
- 3 large eggs
- 1 and 1/4 cups (250g) sugar
- 1 Tablespoon (8g) cornstarch
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 and 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon ginger
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1 cup (240ml) heavy cream
- 1/4 cup (60ml) milk
- egg wash: 1 large egg beaten with 1 Tablespoon milk
How to
Preheat oven to 375°F. Whisk the pumpkin, 3 eggs, and brown sugar together until combined. Add the cornstarch, salt, cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, cloves, pepper, cream, and milk. Vigorously whisk until everything is combined. Carefully place the dough into a pie dish. Tuck it in with your fingers, making sure it is smooth. Par-bake the crust for 10 minutes. Pour pumpkin pie filling into the warm pre-baked crust. Bake the pie until the center is almost set, about 55-60 minutes give or take. Serve pie with whipped cream if desired.

Ingredients
- 1 cup all purpose flour
- 1/2 cup whole wheat flour
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1 1/4 cup almond, oat, soy or other plant based milk of choice
- 1 tablespoon maple syrup, plus more for serving
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil, plus more for greasing
- 1/2 cup pumpkin puree
How to
Mix the dry ingredients in a bowl. Mix the wet ingredients in a separate bowl. Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and whisk to combine (don’t over mix, some lumps are fine). Heat a griddle or large saute pan over medium heat and lightly grease with oil. Ladle as many pancakes as possible (about 2 tbsp of batter for each one) on the griddle and cook 2 minutes or until bubbles start forming on the surface and the bottom is golden brown. Flip the pancakes and cook another 2 minutes. Repeat the process until you run out of batter (you can hold the finished pancakes in a 250 degree oven while you finish making the pancakes). Serve with maple syrup and enjoy.

How to
Preheat waffle iron. Sift first 7 ingredients into a bowl. In a separate bowl whisk the remaining ingredients. Whisk the dry ingredients into the liquid mixture and whisk until smooth. Pour about 1/2 cup of the pumpkin batter into a waffle iron that’s been buttered or greased and cook according to manufacturer’s directions. - 1 cup steel cut oats

How to
Place all the ingredients in the crockpot and stir to combine. Cover and cook on low for 4-8 hours (note that the cooking time can vary depending on your crockpot. Crockpots without non-stick surfaces tend to get hotter, so you’ll want to stick closer to a 5 hour cooking time).

For the Frosting:
- 4 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup confectioner’s sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
How to
For the Muffins:
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Place the first 5 ingredients in a bowl and whisk to combine. In a separate bowl whisk the remaining ingredients. Add the dry ingredients into the wet and whisk until just combined. Pour into greased muffins cups 3/4 full. Bake for 20 minutes. Allow to cool before frosting.
The Frosting:
Combine all ingredients and beat for 1-2 minutes, until fluffy.

- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt

- 1 large egg

Cinnamon Icing:
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1 tablespoon milk
How to
Preheat oven to 375 F. Combine the first 5 ingredients in a bowl and set aside. In a standing mixer or bowl using a hand mixer, cream the butter and brown sugar. Add the egg, the pumpkin puree and milk. Add the flour mixture and mix until just combined. Place the dough in a large zipper bag, seal the bag airtight and then cut off ½ inch of one corner. Pipe the dough into a greased doughnut pan. Bake for 15 minutes and allow to cool. To make the icing, place all of the ingredients in a bowl and whisk to combine. Drizzle icing over each doughnut and serve.

- 2 garlic cloves, peeled whole
