Squash Baby Food

This is a mix of butternut squash, acorn, and yellow squash with sweet potatoes.

This recipe is for kids older than 6 months.

  • 1/3 cup Butternut Squash
  • 1/3 cup Acorn Squash
  • 1/3 cup Yellow Squash
  • 1/3 cup Sweet Potatoe
  • ½ cup Water
  1. Step: Wash, peel and cut all the squashes and sweet potatoes into pieces.
  2. Step: In a pot, add Water along with squashes, sweet potatoes.
  3. Step: Cook till everything gets tender.
  4. Step: Once done, run in trought a food processor.

Squash and Apple

Acorn squash with apple and flavored with a little nutmeg and cinnamon powder.

This recipe is for kids older than 6 months.

  • 1/3 cup Acorn Squash
  • ½ medium Apple
  • Dash of cinnamon powder
  • Dash of nutmeg powder
  • ½ cup Water
  1. Step: Wash, peel and cut the squash and apple into pieces.
  2. Step: In a pot, add water along with squash and apple.
  3. Step: Cook till everything gets tender.
  4. Step: Once done, run in trought a food processor.

Sweet Potato and Apple

  • 1/4 cup Sweet Potato
  • 1/4 cup Apple
  • Dash of cinnamon powder
  • ½ cup Water
  1. Step: Wash, peel and cut the sweet potato and apple into pieces.
  2. Step: In a pot, add wate, sweet potato, apple and cinnamon powder.
  3. Step: Cook till everything gets tender.
  4. Step: Once done, run in trought a food processor.

Sweet Potatoe and Pears

Pears combined with sweet potatoes and added cinnamon powder for a pinch of taste.

  • 1 Pear
  • Dash of cinnamon powder
  • ½ cup Water
  1. Step: Wash, peel and cut the sweet potato and pears into pieces.
  2. Step: In a pot, add water, sweet potato, pears and cinnamon powder.
  3. Step: Cook till everything gets tender.

Apple and Carrots

Apple and carrots together with a pinch of cinnamon. This puree has many fibers and can be a good meal if a baby has little tummy trouble. You can add a few raisins for more taste.

This recipe is for kids older than 8 months.

  • 1/4 cup Carrot
  • 1 Apple
  • Dash of nutmeg powder
  • ½ cup Water
  • 1 tbsp Black raisins
  1. Step: Wash, peel and cut the carrot and apple into pieces.
  2. Step: In a pot, add water, carrot, apple and nutmeg powder.
  3. Step: When they are about to get cooked, add raisins and cook till the raisins get plump.
  4. Step: Cook till everything gets tender.
  5. Step: Once done, run in trought a food processor.

Bean Soup

Healthy and nutritious lima bean soup for your little one of these cold days.

This recipe is for kids older than 1 year.

  • 1 cup Lima Beans
  • 1 Celery Stalk
  • 1 Carrot
  • ½ Tomato
  • ¼ Acorn Squash
  • 1 Garlic Clove
  • 1 ½ cup Water/Vegetable Broth/Vegetable Stock
  • 1 tbsp Butter
  • Dash of Oregano, Cumin and Black Pepper powder
  • Salt to taste
  1. Step: Wash all the vegetables. Peel and cut the carrot into pieces. Cut tomato and celery stalk into pieces as well.
  2. Step: In a pot add oil and heat it. Once heated well, add garlic clove and let it sizzle. It shouldn’t burn.
  3. Step: Then add chopped carrots, celry acorn squash, and tomatoes. Cook till tomatoes get mushy.
  4. Step: Add cooked lima beans and Water/vegetable stock to the pot. Cook until carrot and celery get tender.
  5. Step: Add salt and spices as well.
  6. Step: Once done, run in trought a food processor.

Carrot Soup

A creamy and delicious carrot and potato soup. Lovely warming in the cold winter days.

This recipe is for kids older than 1 year.

  • 1 medium Carrot
  • 1 small Potato
  • 1 stalk of Celery
  • 2 Garlic Cloves
  • 1 Bay Leaf
  • Dash of cumin and Dried Powder
  • 1 ½ cup Vegetable/Chicken/Beef Broth or Stock
  • ½ teaspoons Butter
  • Salt to taste
  1. Step: Wash carrots and celery stalk well. Peel and cut carrots, as well as potatoes into pieces. Cut celery into pieces.
  2. Step: In a pot add butter, add bay leaf, garlic cloves, oregano and cumin powder and let it splutter a bit.
  3. Step: Then add chopped carrots, celery and potato. Saute them for few minutes.
  4. Step: Once they are sauteed well, add vegetable stock to the pot along with salt.
  5. Step: Bring it to a boil. Let simmer til all the vegetables get tender.
  6. Step: Once done, run in trought a food processor.
